Umbrella Academy Scores 45 Million Viewers Globally

Just how big is Umbrella Academy for Netflix? The streaming behemoth, which in the past has been tight-lipped about its viewership, that 45 million member households in the first month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on the comic book, since premiering Umbrella Academy has earned an 85% Fresh score with audiences on Rotten Tomatoes and reviews have been mostly positive.

Vox called it: “The show is every bit as good, as delightfully odd, and as touching as the comic.”

Collider gave it a glowing five-star review: “But as a superhero-tinged TV show, it gets everything right. The Umbrella Academy is incredibly interesting, enjoyable, quirky, and well worth your time.”
