Ian Somerhalder and Laura Vandervoort Take on Vampires in V Wars Trailer

The first trailer for Netflix’s sci-fi vampire thriller V Wars has dropped and if you’ve missed former The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder on the small screen, you’ll definitely want to watch this new series.

Somerhalder portrays Doctor Luther Swann opposite Arrow alum Adrian Holmes, who portrays Swann’s best friend Michael Fayne.

When a mysterious disease transforms Fayne into a vampire Swann races to find a cure as the society around them fractures and more and more people are turned into vampires.

Somerhalder and Holmes are joined by former Smallville and Bitten star Laura Vandervoort.

V Wars is based on the comics by author Jonathan Maberry.

 The entire season of V Wars drops on Netflix on December 5.
