Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!
Ghostbusters: Afterlife has finally dropped it’s first trailer! The film, set 30 years after Ghostbusters II (1989), follows the journey of a teenage siblings Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and Phoebe (Mckenna Grace), as they discover their grandfather’s legacy. After being forced to move into his dilapidated property in Summerville, Oklahoma with their mother Callie (Carrie Coon), strange things begin to happen as they come upon his old Ghostbuster tools.
It also appears the Manhattan ghost events of the past have been forgotten with time. Thankfully, Paul Rudd portrays Mr. Grooberson, the resident hot nerdy know it all who remembers everything Ghostbusters.
Don’t be surprised to see a familiar face or two as all the remaining living Ghostbusters Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Dr. Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), Dr. Winston Zeddmore (Ernie Hudson), and their friends Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) and Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) are all scheduled to make an appearance in the picture.
