You win some and you lose some.
Marvel TV, which features series such as Disney’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Hulu’s Runaways, is officially calling it quits per Deadline.
The television studio will now be merging with its movie sibling, Marvel Studios. The release of Marvel TV’s former Executive Vice President, Jeph Loeb, really spelled certain doom the television division.
It’s been a little bit of a rough road for Marvel TV. All of it’s popular Netflix series, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, were cancelled last year, and its remaining shows are all in their last seasons. There was also the recently shelved Tigra & Dazzler animated series on Hulu and ABC’s Ghost Rider spinoff, both of which didn’t make it out of pre-production.
Never fear, Hulu’s previously announced Helstrom is still on track to make it to air.
