Get ready to feel the need for speed again! Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for 2020’s Top Gun: Maverick. This is the sequel to 1984 classic Top Gun. Tom Cruise returns as the older and slightly wiser Pete “Maverick” Mitchell.
The story follows Maverick as a top test pilot in the Navy for the past 30 years. He is assigned a new group of men to train for a very special assignment. Among the fold is Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of Maverick’s best friend Lt. Nick “Goose” Bradshaw (Anthony Edwards) who tragically passed away in the original move.
The past catches up with the present for Maverick, and he must find a way to navigate it all.
Top Gun: Maverick also stars Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, Jon Hamm, Jay Ellis and Val Kilmer, who reprises his role as Iceman. The film is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2020!
