There’s soon to be a new crimefighting vigilante hitting the big screen.

Stealth, a new comic from Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and comic artist/creator extraordinaire Marc Silvestri , is already poised to make the jump to film per Deadline. The Skybound/Image comic will release it’s first issue March 11, 2020.

Stealth, set in Detroit, follows the story of an unconventional, aging ,well known superhero, who has crossed the line in seeking justice. Unbeknownst to everyone except his son, reporter Tony Barber, Stealth is suffering from Alzheimers. He’s not ready to step down from his role of power, which makes him a danger to everyone.

Universal Pictures and Skybound Entertainment have hired The Butler and Precious director Lee Daniels to produce the film.

No word on when pre-production will begin, but things are certainly moving in the right direction.
