Oscar winning actor Adrien Brody is set to star in Epix’s new TV series based on the Stephen King short story Jerusalem’s Lot, according to Variety.
“Jerusalem’s Lot follows Captain Charles Boone (Brody), who relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea. However, Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history, and fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generation.”
Reportedly, the series will begin production in May 2020 and premiere sometime during Fall 2020.
Since winning an Oscar for his role in The Pianist, Brody has starred in such films as The Grand Budapest Hotel and 2005’s King Kong as well on the small screen in such shows as Peaky Blinders.
