Warner Bros. Announces Flash and Matrix 4 Release Dates

It looks like one comic book hero, and a new chapter to a dystopian future are finally about to have their time on the big screen!

The standalone The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller now has an official release date of July 1, 2022 per The Hollywood Reporter. The film has seemingly been trapped in development hell for years now. With It director Andy Muschietti now attached to the picture and a release from the studio, The Flash may just have the lightning blot it needs for production to begin.

On a similar note, The Matrix 4 is set to hit theaters on May 21, 2021. Thankfully, Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith are all reprising their roles as Neo, Trinity and Niobe from the previous movies! Aquaman and Watchmen actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will also be part of the cast! There is no word on the plot of the last Matrix sequel, but expect it to be out of this world.
