Silence was king in 2017’s A Quiet Place. However, the opposite may be true for the sequel. Paramount Pictures has finally dropped the full A Quiet Place Part II trailer!
The trailer starts off with the evens of the past. Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) is seen driving with her young children through a city in absolute chaos. It appears this is the day the alien creatures took over.
Flash forward to the present, and the Abbott family including Marcus (Noah Jupe) and Regan (Millicent Simmonds), are on the run. They bump into a loner character, portrayed by Cillian Murphy, because Evelyn accidentally activated a loud booby trap! He’s awfully chatty for a movie rooted in silence. He warns, “The people that are left are not the people worth saving.”
Along the way with Murphy’s character, the Abbott’s meet up with another man played by Djimon Hounsou. It seems they all travel together at one point. However, the trailer ends with Evelyn pointing the business end of a loaded gun in an unknown character’s direction.
Watch the full trailer below and check out A Quiet Place Part II when it hits theaters on March 20, 2020!
