Jared Leto’s Joker Won’t Appear in Birds of Prey Movie

Could Jared Leto’s Joker appear in his Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey? Not according to Margot Robbie.

In a feature for Variety, the actress confirms Leto’s Joker doesn’t even make a cameo.

The movie, as its subtitle implies, starts after Harley’s breakup with the Joker. Robbie confirms that Leto’s incarnation of the character doesn’t appear, not even as a cameo.

But what about Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker from Joker, that scored a big box office win for Warner Bros?

As far as that other “Joker” goes, Robbie thinks Joaquin Phoenix “did a phenomenal job.” But “Birds of Prey,” she says, isn’t at all like the Todd Phillips film: “I feel like the ‘Joker’ film was much more grounded. Ours is different. It’s heightened.”

We can’t wait to get a load of Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey, but would you have liked to see cameo’s by Leto’s or Phoenix’s Joker?
