The Matrix 4 to Add Priyanka Chopra Jonas?

Is The Matrix 4 about to get a little more girl power? The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed Priyanka Chopra Jonas is officially in talks to join Warner Bros. The Matrix 4.

There is no word on whom the Bollywood actress-turned-Hollywood starlet would portray in the film. The story will undoubtedly fall in line with the other movies, set in an alternate sci-fi world where machines outnumber humans. Chopra Jonas’ past action role in the ABC Series Quantico will absolutely come in handy for The Matrix.

The Matrix 4 will also star Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss, Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Jonathan Groff. Lana Wachowski, who directed all previous films in the franchise, returns to the director’s chair for another installment.

The Matrix 4 is currently set to debut in theaters on May 21, 2021.
