Upcoming Flash Movie Plot Released

The 2022 Flash movie is really starting to shape up. The film has a release date, director, and now new plot details are coming out.

In a recent interview with That Hashtag Show, director Andres Muschietti has confirmed the story will “different version of Flashpoint than you’re expecting”. Flashpoint is the overarching tale of how Barry Allen manages to create an alternate universe, but only he realizes it is different than the universe he knew. The Flashpoint series changed the DC Universe permanently.

With Muschietti specifying this version of the popular Flash story will be different, it has the possibility to shake things up. The real question is how different will this Flashpoint be?

Flashpoint has already been done on every platform except the big screen. It’s interesting that DC has chosen this to be the “new” start to the Flash movies. Only time will tell if this is the right path for the fastest man alive.
