Watch Sonic: The Hedgehog Super Bowl Commercial

Sonic The Hedgehog will get his time in the sun during the Super Bowl. In honor of the upcoming live action movie, Sonic: The Hedgehog is being featured in his own Super Bowl commercial.

The commercial begins with several star athletes from different sports speaking on speed, agility and rings. NFL New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver Michael Thomas, NFL Carolina Panthers Running Back Christian McCaffrey, Olympic Track and Field Gold Medalist Allyson Felix, and NASCAR legend Kyle Busch all agree they are fast and wild, but they have nothing on “him”. The “him” they all refer to is none other than Sonic The Hedgehog (Ben Schwartz) himself.

Sonic has no idea what this commercial is for, but he’s more than ready for everyone to keep talking about how amazing he is. The commercial then goes into footage from the film. X-Men alum James Marsden portrays Tom Wachowksi, a sheriff who teams up with Sonic to help him collect rings and defeat his nemesis, Dr. Robotnik. Jim Carrey takes on the role of the evil Dr. Robotnik, who wants nothing more than to use Sonic’s abilities to take over the world.

Neal McDonough, One Life to Live alum Tika Sumpter and Adam Pally also star in the live action feature film of the 90s Sega Video Game star!

Check out the commercial below, along with new clips and the Sonic: The Hedgehog trailer below. See if you can catch Sonic in theaters on February 14, 2020!
