WHOA! Doctor Who Brings Back Captain Jack

To celebrate Captain Jack’s return, the BBC posted a video on social media featuring a brief interview with Barrowman. Jack last appeared onscreen in Torchwood: Miracle Day, though the character has continued to have adventures in other media: audio dramas courtesy of Big Finish and graphic novels published through Titan Comics.

When Chris Chibnall became Doctor Who’s head writer and executive producer, fans predicted it was only a matter of time before Jack came back! Chibnall worked closely with former Doctor Who head writer Russell T. Davies to develop Torchwood, the Doctor Who spin-off starring Barrowman.
