Gugu Mbatha-Raw Joins Marvel’s Loki

The cast of Marvel’s Loki is shaping up very nicely. According to Deadline, A Wrinkle in Time alum Gugu Mbatha-Raw has officially joined Loki.

There is no word on who Mbatha-Raw will portray, but the actress has a strong history in action and fantasy projects. From the Netflix series Black Mirror to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2017), she has the range. She joins Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino as a series regular.

Marvel’s Loki will tell the story of Asgard’s bad boy Loki (Tom Hiddleston) as he travel’s through several important moments in time. Remember, Loki stole the The Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame and will be putting it to work in the new series.

Loki is still set to premiere in 2021 on Disney Plus.
