Dr. Jones will soon be back to his old archeological tricks. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy recently confirmed a few new important details about Indiana Jones 5!
Kennedy was on hand at the 2020 BAFTAs on Feb. 2 to receive the BAFTA Fellowship award, and gave an interview with BBC News about her illustrious career. When the journalist asked about the upcoming Indiana Jones 5, Kennedy revealed “we’re working away, getting the script where we want it to be“. She also confirmed the 5th film in the Indiana Jones saga will be a continuation and not a reboot! Lastly, if there was any doubts about Harrison Ford, Kennedy confidently stated the actor will be part of the film.
Ford was last seen as Dr. Indiana Jones in 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The 77 year old actor was recently featured in Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker and will star in The Call of The Wild later this year. It doesn’t look like he’s slowing down any time soon.
