The Witcher season 2 will have another new face once it returns to television. Kim Bodina mostly known for his role on Killing Eve has officially been cast in Netflix’s The Witcher, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Bodina’s character will be Vesemir, the oldest and wisest Witcher! Geralt (Henry Cavill) will look up to him as a father figure. Due to past trauma of surviving the Massacre at Kaer Morhen, Vesemir is a bit overprotective of the few Witchers left in the fantasy world.

Vesemir will play a major role in this season, and is very popular among Witcher novel fans. The Witcher has been a sleeper hit for the streaming service.

Bodina is not the only new addition to the cast. Mecia Simson, Paul Bullion, Thue Ersted Rasmussen, Game of Thrones alum Kristofer Hivju, Yasen Atourn, Aisha Fabienne Ross, and Agnes Born have all been previously announced to appear in season 2 of The Witcher.

The new season of The Witcher is set to hit Netflix in 2021!
