The CW Orders The Lost Boys Pilot

The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, with their vampire lead characters, may be over and Legacies may have pushed vampires to secondary characters, but The CW isn’t done developing vampire content.

According to Deadline, the network has green lit a pilot for a The Lost Boys reboot. This pilot order is different than last year’s Lost Boys pilot ordered by The CW in a couple of ways. Reportedly, the pilot is starting over with fresh casting and only one writer is responsible for the script instead of two.

The show is based off the Warner Bros movie starring Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Dianne Wiest, Barnard Hughes, Edward Herrmann, Corey Feldman and Jami Gert that premiered in 1987.
