Ashley Zukerman Joins Langdon Pilot at NBC

Succession star Ashley Zukerman has signed on to NBC’s Da Vinci Code prequel pilot, according to Variety.

Reportedly, Zukerman will portray the lead character Robert Langdon who was portrayed by Tom Hanks in the movie adaptations of the popular book series.

The pilot’s premise will be based on Dan Brown’s third novel The Lost Symbol,

The series follows the early adventures of famed Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Zukerman), who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a global conspiracy.
