David Harbour recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly to recap two of his recent projects. The actor will star in both Marvel’s Black Widow and Season 4 of Stranger Things. In an interesting turn of events, he seems to have ties to Russia in both.

In Stranger Things, we last saw Chief Hopper go out in blaze of glory at the end of Season 3. In a teaser for Season 4, it seems Hopper somehow survived the blast and is now in a remote part of Russia.

He also portrays a Russian superhero in Marvel’s Black Widow known as Red Guardian. The film is set to debut on May 1, but could be pushed back. Harbour did express his excitement for the upcoming role. He states “I think I’m biased, but I think it’s the best character in all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe”.

Harbour promises “There’s no crossover event between Stranger Things and the MCU.” He even comments on his appearance being extremely different in the separate ventures. “One of them, I’m 270 pounds and got a beard and thick, long hair, and the other one I’m like 200 pounds and have no hair.”

Are you excited to see David Harbour’s adventures in Russia this year?
