The list just keeps growing and growing. Today alone, it was announced that Mulan, A Quiet Place: Part II, The New Mutants and F9: The Fast Saga have been delayed due to the Coronavirus, per Deadline.
It has been a whirlwind adventure for Hollywood in the past 24 hours. It seems all the major releases in the next 2 months will now debut much later than anticipated.
The only film that has a new release date is F9. The film will now hit theaters on April 2, 2021. This was originally the release date of Fast and Furious 10, but mother nature had a better idea.
John Krasinski took to Twitter to announce the delay of A Quiet Place II. Mulan is undoubtedly costing Disney a pretty penny to push back. The New Mutants may not even make its way back to the big screen. It’s already nearly 2 years behind schedule.
Don’t plan on visiting a theater any time soon! Keep your eyes peeled to Geek Confidential for all the latest updates.
