The coronavirus has upended the world, including the filming and production cycles of countless television and movies. Almost daily we receive word of a TV show whose season has been cut short by the pandemic.
Just yesterday The Walking Dead revealed that, because of the coronavirus, its season finale has been forced to air as a special later in the year.
There is a bit of good news for fans of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on The CW. The show’s producer Marc Guggenheim replied to a tweet and revealed the show has already wrapped production and post-production is in progress “virtually.”
The Season 5 finale “Swan Thong” airs on May 5.
We were able to complete production on the season and post-production has been moving apace thanks to our incredible team. In fact, we’re having a “virtual” sound mix of Ep. 514 this afternoon. https://t.co/2dFe2uhlNz
