Uncharted Movie Adds Antonio Banderas

Uncharted, the popular video game based film, has just added a veteran actor. Antonio Banderas has officially been cast in the movie per Variety!

Banderas’ role in the action flick is unknown at this time. The actor recently earned an Oscar nomination for his performance in Pain and Glory. He joins Tom Holland and Mark Whalberg as one of the leading men. Ruben Fleischer, best known for Venom, is directing.

Uncharted was stuck in development hell for at least 5 years. It seems to be slowing clawing it’s way to the light.

In addition to Banderas, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina regular Tati Gabrielle and Sophia Ali will join Uncharted as well.

Sony’s Uncharted is currently scheduled for a March 5, 2021 release.
