Dylan Walsh Joins Superman & Lois!

A film and television veteran has signed on to a new CW superhero show. Dylan Walsh is now a series regular on The CW’s upcoming Superman & Lois series per Deadline.

Walsh joins Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as a contract member of the cast. His character, Samuel Lane, is a strict Army General who is obsessed with keeping the Earth safe from all types of danger in the universe. Lane works non-stop and requires the best from everyone around him including his daughters Lois and Lucy.

The series will focus on the infamous love story of Superman aka Clark Kent and Lois Lane. This version of the duo will struggle with everyday life as working parents, and of course Superman’s villains.

Superman & Lois will go straight to series production for it’s entire 13 episode run. Greg Berlanti will serve as executive producer with The Flash executive producer Todd Helbing.

Walsh is currently recurring on CBS’ Blue Bloods. He is best known for his roles on FX’s Nip/Tuck and CBS/A&E’s Unforgettable.
