Maggie Simpson Animated Short Debuts on Disney Plus

Disney is officially creating new The Simpsons content! Baby Maggie Simpson has a new animated short film, Playdate with Destiny, on Disney Plus per Deadline!

The film starts with Maggie in the park. She soon finds herself in grave danger, but is rescued by another brave baby. The baby not only saves her life, but steals her heart. They have a cute playdate, and Maggie is ecstatic for the next one. However, things go awry. Will something or someone (Homer) stand in her way?

The short briefly aired before Disney/Pixar’s Onward. It’s move to Disney Plus gives the audience a chance to view the short film again and again. Maggie’s first Oscar nominated short The Longest Daycare will be available on the streaming service later this month.
