Don’t expect to see Spidey or Steven Strange on the big screen until late next year. The third installment of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have new release dates, per Deadline.

Spider-Man 3 will now swing into theaters on November 5, 2021. The film was originally set to premiere on June 16, 2021. Tom Holland and Zendaya will reprise their roles as Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Mary Jane “MJ”.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will now debut on March 25, 2022 instead of November 5, 2021. Returning to the cast are Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo, and Benedict Wong as Wong. Elizabeth Olsen will round out the cast as the all powerful Scarlet Witch.

All delays in production and releases are due to the coronavirus pandemic! The Marvel Cinematic Universe always plans every move. If one film moves, they all move.
