Superman & Lois Adds Erik Valdez

Another day, another Superman & Lois casting! Erik Valdez is the latest actor to permanently join the superhero series on The CW per Deadline.

Valdez is portraying Kyle Cushing, husband of Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Smallville fire chief. He’s somewhat of a local hero, but has a stubborn small town mindset. He also wants nothing to do with the big city or people who live there.

Superman & Lois is based on the DC characters of the same name created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The show will focus on the comic book super couple as they face everyday life, parenthood, and those pesky villains. It currently has a 13 episode straight to series order!

Valdez is a General Hospital alumni, whose most recent credits include USA’s Graceland and feature film Paint It Black. He joins Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Dylan Walsh, Emmanuelle Chriqui as a series regular!
