Good Omens and Stranger Things Earn Peabody Nominations

The nominations for The Peabody Awards were announced on Wednesday. Good Omens, Stranger Things and Watchmen all earned nods per the official Peabody website.

The Peabody Awards honor compelling and empowering stories in broadcasting and digital media during 2019. This year’s ceremony is cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, the awards will still continue in a different fashion this year. It is unknown at this time when the winners will be announced.

Amazon’s Good Omens, Netflix’s Stranger Things and HBO’s Watchmen were among the entertainment nominees. It’s always a good day when geeky shows are recognized on a wide scale.
