Amazon’s The Boys Return Date Announced!

A quirky superhero series will return soon! Amazon’s The Boys will be back for Season 2 on September 4, per TVLine.

The series will release three episodes on premiere day! Then, one episode per week until the finale on October 9. Thankfully, the second season wrapped before the Coronavirus pandemic shut everything down. The first season debuted in 2019!

Season 2 will focus on “The Boys’ the run from the law, while hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought,” per the official Amazon episode description. While in hiding , Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) attempt to go with the flow of their new reality. However, Butcher (Karl Urban) is seemingly missing.

TimelessGoran Visnjic and Claudia Doumit will join the series as the mysterious church leader Allstair Adana and congresswoman Victoria Neuman. Timeless’ showrunner, Eric Kripke, also holds the same title on The Boys.
