DC Offers Free Digital Comic Series To The Max

A new comic is coming via a joint venture from two Warner Bros entities. DC and HBO Max are offering a brand new free digital comic series, To The Max, per Deadline.

To The Max will focus on 3 original characters, Hector, Brian and Olivia (HBO…get it?!). The three meet Max the dog and suddenly acquire several different superpowers. The friends will be able to teleport, shape shift, and fly to save the world.

Currently, the comic is three initial eight-page chapters. DC promises the comics will have several “Easter Eggs and fun nods” to the 10,00 hours of programming available on HBO Max. Look for mentions of Friends, Game of Thrones and The Big Bang Theory.

DC Chief Creative Officer and Publisher Jim Lee expresses his optimism for the comic series. “We are excited to share these new and original stories of Hector, Brian, Olivia and Max with the DC fans, and all fans of great entertainment content.” The series is available for download DC Universe, DCComics.com, Apple iBookstore, the Google Play Store, Kindle, Nook, Hoopla, Overdrive, and in the DC Comics, ComiXology and Madefire apps for iOS and Android.
