Hulu Renews Solar Opposites and Crossing Swords

Get ready to see more of two original adult animation series from Hulu. Solar Opposites and Crossing Swords will return for additional seasons, Hulu announced.

Solar Opposites from 20th Century Fox debuted with a two season order on May 8, 2020. In the series, a crew of four aliens escape their exploding home planet only to crash land into a suburban America home. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) are less than thrilled with Earth and its pollution, consumerism, and weak humans. Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) are living their best lives watching TV, loving humans and eating junk food. Their one common goal is to protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth. All main voice actors will return for Season 3. Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan are co-creators of the series.

Crossing Swords first season aired on June 12th, 2020. In less than one week, the series earns a second season! The stop motion series follows Patrick (Nicholas Hoult) the peasant as he lands a coveted squire position at the royal castle. However, his dream quickly transforms into a nightmare when he discovers the kingdom is run by horny monarchs, crooks and charlatans. Not mention, Patrick’s criminal siblings return to make his goodie two shoes life hell. Nicholas Hoult, Adam Ray, Tara Strong, Tony Hale, Luke Evans, Seth Green, Alanna Ubach, Adam Pally, Yvette Nicole Brown, Maya Erskine, Breckin Meyer and Wendi McLendon-Covey will be back for season 2. Tom Root will return as writer, executive producer, and co-creator with director John Harvatine IV.
