Hulu Drops Helstrom Trailer and Reveals Premiere Date

A new Marvel series is closer to making its official debut. The first trailer for Marvel’s Helstrom at Hulu is finally available!

Helstrom is based on Marvel comic book characters Daimon and Santana Helstrom. In the series, Daimon (Tom Austen) and Ana( Sydney Lemmon) are the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer. The duo seek out the worst people in the world and take care of them.

Daimon is an ethics professor by day, and an exorcist by night. He is inpatient, but fervorous to rid the world of all demons. Santana, or Ana for short, runs a successful auction house and does not have time for anyone’s nonsense. She worries her father will return, and throws quite a bit of her energy into hunting those like him. Furthermore, the two play mind games with their mother Victoria (Elizabeth Marvel) who is in a mental institution.

The trailer plays to the shows eerie content. There’s plenty of fire, hands rising from the grave, and talk of “unnatural behavior”. One constant is the strong, but complicated sibling relationship between Daimon and Ana.

Hulu will drop the entire 10 episode first season of Helstrom on October 16.
