Jude Law in Talks to Star as Captain Hook in Live Action Peter Pan

A pirate’s life may be in store for a British Born Hollywood actor. Jude Law is in talks to star as Captain Hook in Disney’s Live Action Peter Pan and Wendy film, per Variety.

Law will be the fourth actor to step into the role of the dastardly pirate if everything goes according to plan. The film is currently on track to be a major theatrical release.

David Lowery will occupy the director’s char for the project. He also co-wrote the script with Toby Halbrooks. The live action film will be an adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s novel Peter Pan. Disney hit major success with the animated 1953 version.

Jude Law‘s most recent credits include Paramount’s Rhythm Section and HBO’s critically acclaimed The New Pope. He will also return as Dumbledore in the next Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie.
