Nothing is coming up flowers and daisies for the DC Universe at the moment. 2018 Justice League star Ray Fisher tweets about Joss Whedon’s”gross” and “abusive” behavior during filming!
The Cyborg actor sent out a succession of tweets on Wednesday morning addressing Whedon’s on-set demeanor. He began by posting a video of himself from 2017 stating, “Joss is a great guy and Zack picked a good person to come in and finish up for him.” His next statement is “I’d like to take a moment and forcefully retract every bit of this statement.”
Quickly, Fisher unleashes his true thoughts on the replacement Justice League director. “Joss Wheadon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. He was enabled, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Accountability>Entertainment.”
Conversly, Fisher goes on to give thanks to Zack Snyder and Chris Terio. “I don’t praise Chris Terrio and @ZackSnyder for simply putting me in Justice League. I praise them for EMPOWERING me (a black man with no film credits to his name) with a seat at the creative table and input on the framing of the Stones before there was even a script! #BORGLIFE.”
Whedon’s and his team have not made a comment on the allegations. Check out Fisher’s tweets below!
