The Upside Down isn’t going anywhere any time soon. The Hollywood Reporter confirms Netflix’s Stranger Things will continue past Season 4!
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer reveal in an interview the status of the show past the upcoming installment. “Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. (The pandemic) has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”
The Duffer Brothers also drop some details on the status of new season. “We’ve had a lot more time to work on the scripts. For the first time, we have all the scripts written and we’re able to look at it as a whole piece and make adjustments.” If the past seasons were written before everything was finished, the fans may be in for a real treat in Season 4!
New episodes of Stranger Things are set for a possible 2021 debut due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin are all returning for another adventure in Hawkins, IL.
The series is a 2020 Primetime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Drama Series!
