DC FanDome: The Batman Movie and “Year One” HBO Max Series Details Revealed! (Trailer)

I’m Vengeance.

The highly anticipated The Batman teaser dropped at DC’s FanDome and we got our first look at Robert Pattinson as The Dark Knight.

Director Matt Reeves told the audience that “We’ve only shot 25% of the movie, but there was not way I couldn’t show part of the movie.”

And the part he shared definitely had us wanting more. We caught a glimpse of Catwoman and there was a whole lot of The Riddler teased.

For all of those tired of seeing daddy and mamma Wayne die and pearls fall to the ground because every Batman story needs an origin, there’s a bit of good news.  Reeves revealed the film will show “Year Two” of Batman’s story.

But never fear. Those of you who love the origin story will get that too! The Batman TV series coming to HBO Max will take a deep dive into “Year One.” In essence, the series is a prequel to the movie.

The Warner Bros.’ film stars Robert Pattinson (Batman), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), Paul Dano (The Riddler), Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth) and Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon).
