An action series finds its lead actor. Deadline reports Amazon’s Jack Reacher casts DC Titans’ Alan Ritchson in the title role!

Amazon’s new series tells the story of former U.S Army soldier Jack Reacher. Reacher goes on several life threatening adventures to explore suspicious activity around the country. Tom Cruise plays the movie counterpart in 2012 and 2016! The series gathers its material from The Killing Floor, an original novel by Lee Child! Reacher is the lead character in the novel.

Besides Titans, Ritchson includes The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Blood Drive and Smallville. It’s important to note Ritchson stands at 6’4” and 235 pounds! Naturally, he’s the perfect Jack Reacher! Nick Santora will serve as executive producer, writer and showrunner. The series is a collaboration between Amazon Studios, Skydance Television and Paramount TV Studios.
