Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo to Star in Copshop

Are you ready for a Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo team up? In what may be the cop movie we didn’t know we needed, comes word that the Angel Has Fallen and Kingdom stars will be starring opposite each other in Copshop.

However, Butler and Grillo won’t be portraying cops.

The movie’s plot centers around “a small-town police station becomes the unlikely battleground between a professional hitman (Butler), a smart rookie female cop, and a double-crossing con man (Grillo) who seeks refuge behind bars with no place left to run.”

Copshop’s female lead still needs to be cast.

The action-thriller film is directed by Joe Carnahan and Open Road Films will release in the U.S. STXinternational will be responsible for overseas sales.
