
Another day, another film moving to later in the year. Gerard Butler’s sci-fi thriller Greenland moves to the end of 2020, per Deadline.
The film’s prior September 25th debut is a thing of the past. U.S. theaters continue to be closed during the Coronavirus pandemic forcing films to push their dates. The film did premiere overseas in 13 markets.
In the movie, a comet brings about the end of the world. Butler portrays John Garrity, a dad trying to save his son from certain doom. He must take the journey with his estranged wife, Allison Garrity (Morena Baccarin). It comes to the wire on whether they will survive.
Ric Roman Waugh serves as the director. Additionally, the cast includes David Denman, Andrew Bachelor, Roger Dale Floyd and Scott Glenn.
