Jack Quaid Joins Scream 5

Another week, another round of Scream 5 casting news. Variety reports Jack Quaid is the newest actor to join Scream 5.

Quaid is a newbie to the Scream franchise. His role is currently being kept under wraps. Quaid along with Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and OG’s David Arquette and Courteney Cox round out the cast for now.

This week, Paramount Pictures announced Scream 5 will debut on January 14, 2022. Production will begin in Wilmington, N.C. later this year. Ready or Not directors Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will helm the film. Original Scream writer Kevin Williamson will serve as executive producer for this film.

Quaid currently stars as Hughie Campbell on Amazon’s The Boys. His recent credits include Star Trek: Lower Decks, Rampage, and The Hunger Games.
