
The Hulk is ready for a family reunion with his cousin She-Hulk!
Avengers star Mark Ruffalo reacted to the news that Orphan Black actress Tatiana Maslany has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as She-Hulk for the upcoming Disney Plus TV series by welcoming her to the family.
He tweeted, “Welcome to the family, cuz!”
Ruffalo has portrayed Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk, in the MCU since 2012’s Avengers. His addition to MCU also resulted in him starring opposite Chris Hemsworth in 2017’s space romp Thor: Ragnorak. The third of the MCU’s Thor movies.
The She-Hulk series is planned to join Disney Plus’ upcoming slate of MCU TV shows. It was recently announced that Kat Coiro would direct and executive produce the show. Today’s casting of Maslany resolves another important element of the She-Hulk series.
Maslany most recently starred in HBO’s Perry Mason as Sister Alice McKeegan, a preacher and leader of the Radiant Assembly of God.
