Frozen’s Olaf Gets a Once Upon A Snowman Short Film

Do you want to build a snowman? Frozen’s Olaf is getting the short film treatment in Once Upon A Snowman on Disney Plus, per TVLine.

The new animated movie will tell the origin story of the adorable yet thoughtful snowman. The events pick up as he comes to life and tries to figure out his identity right outside of Arendelle. Naturally, Josh Gad returns as the voice of Olaf.

Zootopia animator Trent Correy and Space Jam animator Dan Abraham co-direct the film. Correy expresses his excitement on the new project. ” Dan Abraham and I are so grateful and excited to have had the opportunity to direct this short, working with our incredible colleagues at Walt Disney Animation Studios.”

Once Upon A Snowman will premiere on Disney Plus on Friday, October 23.
