Playstation 5 Debuts November 12

Get your bank accounts ready! Sony announces Playstation 5 will be available for purchase on November 12, per CNET.

The Playstation 5 is the long awaited follow up to 2013’s Playstation 4. It’s been 7 years since a brand new PS console! The are two different versions of the PS5. The digital only system is $399. The blue-ray compatible version comes in at $499.

Several major retailers are already taking pre-orders for the console and all the accessories. The PS5 will have its own headset, wireless charging station, wireless controllers, and a remote control! The remote hasn’t been an additional feature since the PS3. Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Amazon are already selling out and it’s about 2 months until go time.

Playstation’s direct competition Microsoft’s X-Box is also debuting a new console. The X-Box Series X and X-Box Series S will be in stores two days earlier on November 10! The price tag’s are similar at $499 and $299 respectively.

So, there’s only one question left to ask! Playstation or X-Box?
