Riverdale Returns to Production

Roll Tape! Filming is underway on Riverdale Season 5 according to showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s Instagram!

In Aguiree-Sacasa’s post, he drops that the entire cast and crew were subject to a 14 day quarantine before filming. The show is also following the “bubble” plan to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The series films in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.

The show’s creator is not alone in the photo either. Camila Mendes, Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, Cole Sprouse and Drew Ray Tanner are all smiles next to him. Apparently, it was also a celebration of Reinhart’s 24th birthday!

In August Lili Rinhart revealed on the Jimmy Fallon Show that Riverdale’s upcoming season will make a five-year time jump into the future.

In addition to the actors above, Riverdale also stars KJ Apa and Casey Cott. The series is set to return to The CW in January 2021!
