Samuel L. Jackson Brings Nick Fury To New Disney Plus Series

The man in charge of The Avengers is going solo! Variety scoops Samuel L. Jackson will portray Nick Fury in an all new Marvel series for Disney Plus!

While details are slim on the show at the moment, Jackson will be the top star. Also, this is the first time he will be a series regular on a television show during his illustrious career. Rumors have it Kyle Bradstreet will pen the scripts. Marvel Studios will executive produce. The series is currently in the beginning stages of development.

Jackson’s version of Nick Fury has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2008’s Iron Man. He appears in several Infinity Stone series films and even ABC’s Marvel Agents of SHIELD.

This is now the 5th Marvel centric live action series on Disney Plus. It joins The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Wandavision, Loki, and She-Hulk. It’s clear Disney is all in with Marvel.
