Star Trek Day Set For September 8

Calling All Trekkies! It’s time to engage! CBS All Access is launching Star Trek day on September 8th.

September 8th was chosen because 54 years ago the first Star Trek series by Gene Roddenberry ever hit the airwaves. CBS All Access will have a ton of content for the entire day. There will be panels featuring cast members from the past and present, small marathons of each Star Trek series, and much more!

Familiar faces Levar Burton, his daughter Mica Burton, and Wil Wheaton will host all panels! Both the panels and the selected episode marathons will be free of charge on the Star Trek website. The marathons begin at 3AM ET, and the panels at 3PM ET.

In addition, a trivia hour known as “pub quiz” will begin on Twitch at 7PM ET! Look for new merchandise and emoji’s on Twitter as well.
