It’s time to head back to Hawkins! Deadline scoops Netflix’s Stranger Things will resume filming Season 4 on September 28!

The show originally began production in February, but the pandemic put a halt to everything one month later. The long hiatus did give the writers a chance to complete writing the entire season. Rumors have it this season will only have 8 episodes like the first season.

Series creators and writers Matt and Ross Duffer were generous enough to give a few details of the shows story this season. “Although it’s not all good news for our ‘American’ (Hopper); he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything. Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more. In the meantime — pray for the American.

It is unclear when Season 4 will hit Netflix, but watch a video below of the first table read of Season 4 BC (Before Coronavirus)!
