Tatiana Maslany to Top Line She-Hulk Series

An actress with a strong background in science fiction is heading to the MCU. Deadline scoops Tatiana Maslany will portray She-Hulk in the new Disney Plus series!

This news comes days after Disney announced Kat Coiro as the main director and EP of the series. Maslany takes on She-Hulk aka Jennifer Walters! She is a lawyer and cousin of The Hulk Bruce Banner. Her powers come after getting blood transfusion from him.

The addition of Maslany to the role is in line with the studio’s push to promote strong female leads. Her presence is absolutely a win for Marvel. The series is still in the pre-production phase.

Maslany won an Emmy for her role as Sarah Manning and 20 other characters in BBC America’s Orphan Black. She also recently completed a stint on the Tony Award winning Broadway play Network.
