Wonder Woman isn’t the only female super hero who is losing the scheduling battle to coronavirus, so is Black Widow.

According to Variety, Disney’s upcoming blockbuster Marvel movie Black Widow is expected to have its premiere delayed.

The Black Widow solo film is currently scheduled to hit theaters November 6, but now it appears Disney is exploring its options.

Last week Wonder Woman 1984 was bumped to December 25th but has been delayed multiple time since November 2019. After so many delays, this geek would prefer that both Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Widow be delayed until May 2021 and have them launch what will hopefully be a post-COVID vaccine era at the box office.

Variety is also reporting that Disney is considering premiering its animated movie Soul on Disney Plus instead of releasing it to theaters November 6.  The Mouse House has already released it’s live-action Mulan on Disney plus for a premium fee, though it will be available to all subscribers for free in December.

Earlier this year NBCUniversal released Trolls World Tour On Demand and raked in more money in three weeks than its predecessor Trolls did in five months in theaters.

Do you think Disney should delay Black Widow’s premiere? If so when or how would you like to see it debut? Let us know in the comments below!
