2017’s Justice League has more lives than a cat at this point. The Hollywood Reporter scoops director Zack Snyder will film additional scenes for The Snyder Cut!
Snyder’s version of Justice League is currently running around the 4 hour mark. Now, it’s possible the film will be even longer. Snyder is planning to shoot additional footage featuring 4 of the 6 Justice League members. Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and even Cyborg (Ray Fisher) are all on the schedule.
Fisher’s return as Cyborg is raising eyebrows as the actor is the middle of a major controversy with Warner Bros. over the feature film’s director Joss Whedon. To be frank, the whole situation is a mess. It’s clear his accusations of Whedon’s abusive and inappropriate were recently confirmed by co-star Jason Momoa. There is no update on the issue right now, but one may be on the way with The Snyder Cut going back into production.
The Snyder Cut will roll tape in October. The new shoot will last for about a week or a little longer. The Snyder Cut is still set to hit HBO Max in 2021!
